Studies abound hailing the benefits of touch – from the soft and silky skin of the newborn – to the hairy and wrinkly version we carry as grownups. The stimulation of our largest organ is fundamental to our mental and physical well being. Sadly though, not enough of us are being touched in adulthood. There is actually a market now for robotic hugs and even a new phenomenon in New York City called Cuddle Parties – no sex, just a pile of grownups cuddling and hugging their cares away in their pajamas. Without touch it’s difficult to have sex – and more quality touching means a better sex life. This program is recommended for an audience aged 17 and up. • Sex + Rock & Roll

Since its inception, rock and roll music has been linked to sexuality. It is sex. Raunchy lyrics, overt body language, and the off stage antics of rockers just ooze sex. We’ll look at the effects music has on our physiology – what’s happening to our bodies when we get “turned on” by music. We follow Vault, an up and coming heavy metal band that’s determined to land a record deal, but have fun along the way too. Neil Strauss is a writer with Rolling Stone Magazine who’s traveled with several of rock and roll’s most notorious sexpots and he’ll share stories from the road. We’ll even meet Cynthia Plaster Caster, a groupie from the 60’s who made her name making molds of her favourite rock star penises in plaster. • First Date

One thing everyone can agree on is that first dates are nerve-wracking. And no wonder! From the moment we step into the shower to get ready, we are embarking on a complex mating ritual. It becomes even more complex, and downright scary when it comes to blind dates. In this episode, we follow a man and woman out on blind dates set up by us. They receive no advance coaching and no tips are offered. We then track every step of their dates from picking the right tie, to the goodnight peck on the cheek. Then our “Date Doctor”, Therapist Rebecca Rosenblat, sits down separately with the two dates and reviews all their hits and misses, offering specific advice before sending them out on a date together. This time when our cameras follow them out for a night on the town they can put their new knowledge into practice. Have they learned anything from their mistakes, or are they too set in their dating ways? You might be surprised. This program is recommended for an audience aged 17 and up. The definition of virginity is not cut and dry. In this episode we talk to young university women and men about what virginity means to them. For example: oral sex and anal sex are considered “outercourse” and a group of students will talk about how you can still call yourself a virgin if you engage in “outercourse”. We’ll profile someone who is a virgin well into their 40’s to get his perspective on the stigmas attached to being a virgin later in life and how he intends to eventually lose his virginity. And Esmeralda Venegas calls herself the “queen of virginity” – giving “girls with a past a new future”. Whether they are looking to reclaim their virginity for a second marriage, or whether the matter is a serious cultural issue where women are expected to bleed on their wedding night, this NYC clinic will restore a woman’s hymen in effect making them a virgin again. Similar to last year’s successful his and her makeover shows, only this time with a couple. Sexpert Dr. Ava Cadell will guide them through the steps and teach them some new lessons in love. We’ll even give them a sexy new look because, after all, married couples generally report less exciting sex than singles. That doesn’t have to be the case. • The Brothel

We go inside a legal Nevada brothel called Sheri’s Ranch. Sheri’s has become a full-blown resort where you can golf and take in the spa. The “working women” share their stories about what the sex-for-sale trade is really like. On the other side of the Atlantic we meet Charlie Daniels. Charlie has been through so much, she has lived the equivalent of five lifetimes and she is only 34 years old. Simply put, Charlie is the UK equivalent of Heidi Fleiss. She has worked as a prostitute, been a brothel madam and operated a chain of high-end brothels in England. Once she attained a lifestyle of unbelievable wealth (private helicopters, jewelry, luxury trips etc) she suddenly realized this wasn’t what she wanted after all. She wasn’t happy, so she quit. Her now makes a living organizing singles events and advising politicians and on the authorities on the decriminalization of prostitution. Charlie also advises women on the good and bad (lots of bad) about prostitution. Note: We are keeping this episode focused on legalized prostitution, not street prostitution or those who are forced into prostitution. This program is recommended for an audience aged 17 and up.
