As the Sex Files wagon waves goodbye for the last time, we take a somewhat lighthearted look at what goes into the making of this show. Infamous stories, the “workshops” we’ve shot, the secrets we’ve learned etc. Viewers get a never before seen look behind the scenes to glimpse at what really goes into those nude shoots. What’s the best and worst part about working on a show like this and why will none of us ever forget it? This program is recommended for an audience aged 17 and up. The Love Glove
What’s a little glove between friends? As little as a few decades ago there were laws prohibiting the sale of condoms – they had to be sold in paper bags and called cute little things so as not to offend the senses. And way back when, they were organic! Now they come in all shapes, sizes, colours and flavours. Unbeatable in theory – but often misused. Find out what the real skinny on condom mishaps might be attributable to – suffice it to say that most modern condoms might need to come with an operator’s manual. But rest assured, it won’t be as thick as the one that Durex uses at their manufacturing plant in Barcelona. High-tech science helps roll millions of them off the production line every day. But there is a new condom in town ready to take on the status quo – a slightly looser version of the male prophylactic – the female condom, designed with a woman in mind. See how the battle of these sexes measures up. But what exactly are condoms? Where did the idea come from? How do we know they are doing their job? And where exactly do they go when the deed is done? Follow their tale from cradle to grave. This program is recommended for an audience aged 17 and up. May contain information that is considered offensive to some viewers.

Erotic Origins
We’re going to take a trip back in time way back in time. Think we’re a sex-crazed sin-filled society today? We’ll show you eye popping, erotic sex that was written about, described and displayed two thousand years before the invention of the Internet. We’ll examine the orgies of ancient Rome, the ubiquitous bisexuality in ancient Greece, the sexual innuendo on the tombs of the Egyptians and the birthplace of the Kama Sutra in India. To get a handle on our current sexual obsessions, it wouldn’t hurt to ask our ancestors for some help. This program is recommended for an audience aged 17 and up. The Kiss
Passionate, deep, quick, sloppy and sweet. There isn’t a Hollywood romance that doesn’t have a perfect kiss. But not everyone kisses like stars do on screen. And humans aren’t the only animals who play a little tonsil hockey either. Regardless of species, the more you do it, the better you get. Drop in on a kissing workshop where a few couples learn to spice up their lip-locks. To some, the kiss is the ultimate form of intimacy and committing to a kiss is much more than casual affection. But if it doesn’t taste right, Dr. Alan Hirsch will explain just how it can send someone running. And not only are we on the scent of the perfect kiss taste, we will also go even deeper – right down to the dirty cellular level with Dr. Robert Friar who will show us that there is a heck of a lot more to a kiss than ‘pucker up and lean in’.. The Strip
Stripping seems pretty straightforward. Start with your clothes on, end in the buff. But there’s plenty of science hidden behind all the shimmy. And we’ll take you behind the scenes of Thee Dollhouse, one of the largest upscale strip club chains in the world, with founder Michael J. Peter, to find it. From the height of the stage, to the placement of the lights to the selection of music, these clubs are designed to make the dancers look their best – and keep the customers coming. Kate Frank, an anthropologist who spent several years working as a dancer will shed light on the psyche of dancers and customers. Finally, Mary Taylor, a former dancer who pioneered “Peel and Play” workshops will show us how you strip for your lover. This program is recommended for an audience aged 17 and up. Baring It All
Meet Stephane Deschenes and his family – they like to take off every summer and take it ALL off as well. They are naturists who say there is nothing sexual about baring it all. And they’re not alone. Whether they take it off a few times a year, or live year-round in the buff, naturists say there are plenty of reasons for parading around in your birthday suit. We spend the day with a nude news crew at a resort in the Santa Cruz mountains in California. And we meet a nudist masters student who went undercover at some higher end nudist resorts. Her conclusions? There may be a snake in the nudist perception of paradise. This program is recommended for an audience aged 17 and up. No Sex Please
Asexual: A person who does not experience sexual attraction. While research on asexuality is extremely limited, there is a small percentage of people who identify as asexual. Their existence adds a new but highly scrutinized dimension to the study of sexuality. The medical community is divided on whether asexuality is merely a lack of desire, or a condition to be treated as a sexual orientation? Some say asexuality is where homosexuality was five decades ago: fundamentally misunderstood, and the target of scientific attempts to explain it away. This episode addresses the growing scientific interest in asexuality, those people who identify with this lifestyle, and asexuals who go undiagnosed for sexual problems and aversions that they might have. We meet six individuals who identify as asexual (including a British comic, a Physics university student, and a newspaper editor) who are adamant about getting the word out. In addition to the six self-described asexuals, we’ll meet “Harry”, a man who suffers from sexual anorexia.. While the food anorectic obsesses over denial of nourishment, the sexual anorectic focuses on avoidance of any kind of sexual contact. For Harry, his addiction to not having sex gave him a sense of superiority. This program is recommended for an audience aged 17 and up.
