Inventors of the World

Take a close-up look at some of the world’s greatest inventors and their landmark contributions in the fascinating Inventors of the World Video Series. Each program in the series provides students with an in-depth look at the process of invention through some of the monumental accomplishments and inventions of each legendary figure. Students will see that no one single person creates an invention alone, but that the most famous inventors in history have collaborated with others, often improving upon existing designs or research. By exploring archival films, photographs and actual drawings and materials, students will be captivated by the inventors of yesterday and how their inventions influence our lives today.
