Providing an in-depth technical exploration of hearing loss, hearing aids, and the technology used to dispense them, this interactive CD-ROM supports many of the hands-on skills that are required of hearing aid practitioners on a daily basis. Tips on completing hearing tests and evaluating hearing aids are detailed along with a background on the physics of sound and the physiology of the ear. Virtual hearing aids, interactive oscilloscopes, and a fully functional audiometer simulator contribute to the interactivity of this CD-ROM.
